MBF Cheshire & Potteries Area, 26th Crewe Model Bus Extravaganza, 2004 (1/5)

Crewe Library had been the home of the Extravaganza for a quarter of a century, so it came as something of a wrench to try another venue. The gamble paid off when we realised that the Crosville Social WMC was indeed a bigger venue and there was more space for the public to circulate and view the exhibits. On the day, most people agreed that the venue was ideal, and the Extravaganza was once again well-supported by exhibitors, members and the local public.

The East Midlands Area once again sent a large contingent and their efforts were rewarded when Karl Kingston won the trophy for the best display, whilst the trophy for the best model was shared by Eric Wain and myself for our jointly-produced Leyland PS2 with Weymann bodywork, in Crosville coach livery - very appropriate for a Crosville model to win at the Crosville Social WMC!

If you missed the event, you missed a good day but, not to worry, we may well do it again next year, and look forward to seeing you then!

Dave Eadie, MBF Cheshire & Potteries Area Secretary

Details of models shown in these Exhibition Galleries often take a while to come through, but they can be added quite easily, at a later date. I will try to credit many of the models, to their builder at least, from the start. If Area Secretaries could provide a short report for this page, it would be very much appreciated. If you were there, and would like to add captions to the photos, particularly for your own models, and others, or correct any errors, please 'Click' on this link to send information to: MBF Web Galleries.
Please DO NOT SEND gallery material to the Web Administrator.
