The most unusual double-decker in my Quicksilver fleet is former Bus Eireann Bombardier UVV745Y, 'Gerry Rafferty' (built from the Ryanbus resin kit). Completely fanciful of course, as no operator in their right mind would buy a Bombardier! Adam Floyd You may remember that I took First Prize in the Junior Class in the modelling competition at the 2002 AGM. This is the kit I chose as my prize, the Paragon Road Services WMPTE Fleetline, built as WDA999T, and named 'Barry White' in the Quicksilver fleet. Schmit' (G653FVX), a repainted Collector's Model die-cast, is one of the former Hong Kong Dennis Condors brought back to the UK by Ensign. This one has been fitted with coach seats and is a useful asset to Quicksilver, particularly for school trips. Adam Floyd

Adam Floyd This scratchbuilt Scania K113TRB/Plaxton Paramount 4000 (builder unknown) came from no less a fleet than Eldorado Motor Services. Originally A3ELD, it has been re-registered TYS237 and named 'Joe Walsh', by Quicksilver. Adam Floyd Another EFE repaint, this time a single-door DMS. It represents an early Ensign single-door conversion, formerly owned by Shoreys of Maulden, Bedfordshire, but now in the Quicksilver fleet, and is registered DDA66 and named 'Meat Loaf'.
