London General StarRider: This resin kit is one produced by Paragon Road Services (Andrew Goodwin), and represents the Mercedes/Optare StarRider. I have built/converted it to represent one of the buses operated by London Buses Ltd. I altered the entrance door to be wider, as per the LBL spec., which they called the 'fastflow' door. The model represents fleet number SR118 (G118KUB), which operate from the basement of Gillingham Street (Victoria) garage, hence the 'GB' garage code. These buses operated on 'Red Arrow' route 507, on Saturdays, running past Westminster City Hall, where the London Area of the MBF meets. However, the 507 no longer operates on Saturdays, it must be said. It was converted to dual-door and also had the staircase moved from behind the cab to opposite the new exit door. The conversion of the model was done by me.
