LT - Scratchbuilt: An EFE RT radiator found its way onto a scratchbuild again. Possibly not quite the right size, but the model has a pleasing aspect to me. I was always disappointed when one of these turned up on Route 37 rather than a 'pre-war' RT, but the model brings back those days. G - Scratchbuilt: The Massey utility body was very distinctive and I wanted a bus in wartime brown livery. I not sure I ever saw one (I lived in South London), but I certainly saw brown Daimlers. That's on the list for a future model. Pre-War STD - Scratchbuilt: Once again a bus whose sound made it attractive, I only used to see them on visits to the West End. The model was made to coincide with my visit in 2000 to the UK and the MBF AGM where it was entered with success in the competition. After discussion with Tony Asquith it led to the building of a master for the Little Bus Company kit. Private Hire RF - Concept kit conversion: Made to accept the challenge of those transparencies in the roof. Quite a satisfying model until the EFE RF appeared. The differences in the roof profiles are too much to display them too close to one another.
Godstone STL - Kit built: Built from the Little Bus Company kit (for which I made the master) this model has extra details: 'glass' rainshields, driver's mirror, marker lights and width indicator. It is intended to represent the livery as delivered, except for the LT fleetnames, but the colour is a best guess. By the way, the headlights are misaligned, just like the prototype.
